Four officers from Bahrain Meteorological Department participated in a two weeks course on climate data processing and analysis that concluded in mid may 2005. The course was aimed at keeping abreast with the latest developments in climate data management and utilization.

Four other senior Meteorological Officers from Bahrain Meteorological Office pause for a photograph with the College Academic staff and lectures after receiving their certificates for participating in a refresher course in Surface Meteorological Instruments and observations.
The College has programmed a series of two weeks refresher courses in the coming months including one on Satellite Imagery Interpretation in June this year.
QAC exhibited at the recently concluded second Middle East Meteorological Conference that was held at Marriott Hotel Doha.
The WMO secretary General Dr. Michel Jarraud who was the Chief guest visited the College booth together with the Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority His Excellency Abdul Aziz Al- Noaimi.
The Secretary General latter visited the College and held discussions with the Director General of the College Ali Ibrahim Al- Malki on matters pertaining to meteorological training.
