Air Traffic Service is
under the management of ATC
department.
As the former Civil Aviation College of the Gulf States, Qatar
Aeronautical College continues to uphold the high training
standards that meet ICAO and for ATC licensing. To meet this requirement, QAC
has adopted ICAO and WMO syllabi and curriculum for ATC and
Met training.
Classrooms and laboratories are well equipped
with modern training facilities including multimedia
equipment; computers with Internet for students research work,
and a state-of-the-art multi-training ATC simulator for radar,
non-radar and 3-D Aerodrome simulations. The Aerodrome simulator
gives the trainee a real tower control environment with an
added advantage of the capability to simulate emergencies,
weather, touch screen communication facilities, single, parallel,
and crossing runways operations. The clients have a wide options
to select the training simulation and configuration that meets
their operational requirement. |
