Class Description

 

Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) – Ground Avionics

The course is taught to the ICAO requirements and covers both Theory and Practical instruction in the following Modules. In addition at the end of the course each student will be attached to the Workshop at the Old Airport to undertake 6 weeks of Practical Work Experience. There is 1 intake of students for the course. The Intake will be on week 3 of the first Semester

During the first Semester the following Modules will be completed. The total hours of instruction will be 425 hours of Theory and Practical. The first Semester will be 17 weeks due to commencement of course in week 3 of new Semester

  •   GA1/160 Digital Techniques Microprocessors

During the second Semester the following Modules will be completed. The total hours of instruction will be 600 hours of Theory and Practical. The second Semester will be 24 weeks.
